MT-101 is a rust converter primer specifically designed for use on steel
surfaces, particularly in environments where traditional cleaning methods
like sandblasting may be challenging. This product works by converting
rust into a stable, non-reactive compound, allowing for better adhesion of
subsequent coatings. It provides a protective layer that helps prevent
further rust formation, extending the lifespan of metal surfaces. The
product is ideal for situations where surface preparation is limited or where
removing existing rust is not feasible. Its effectiveness in converting rust
and providing a sound surface for paint or coatings makes it valuable for a
variety of industrial and maintenance applications.
Non-Destructive Formula:
Non acid-based rust remover designed to preserve the integrity of the metal, ensuring that
only the rust is removed.
Temporary Protective Film:
After rust removal, the product leaves behind a thin protective layer on the metal surface,
helping to guard
against re-oxidation and providing temporary protection.
Easy to Use:
Requires minimal physical effort, as the rust loosens naturally over time without aggressive
scrubbing.
USE
INSTRUCTION OF USE
Surface Cleaning:
Wash the surface thoroughly using a degreaser and ensure it is completely clean before
application.
Spray Application (Recommended):
Apply the product to the rusted surface using a spray method for even coverage and effective
penetration.
Reaction Process:
Allow the solution to react fully. The rust will first change color to purple and then turn
grey once the
reaction is activated and complete.
Post-Application Care:
Do not wash or disturb the treated surface for at least 24 hours to allow the protective
reaction layer
to stabilize.
